Dodge Foundation (PGDF) is dedicated to helping people lead lives free from the effects of alcohol addiction. By increasing treatment options, elevating awareness, and facilitating access, we work to create a new paradigm for what treatment and recovery can be.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Vision <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>We envision a world in which the following ideals are realized:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Everyone has access to <strong>affordable, best-evidence treatment<\/strong> that is right for their individual circumstances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Treatment consists of a <strong>continuum of care<\/strong> that is holistic and long-lasting, incorporating multiple strategies to address the biological, behavioral, spiritual and social facets of addiction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reliable information<\/strong> about alcohol addiction, treatment, and life in recovery is readily available<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Current and future <strong>physicians, counselors, social workers, and other service providers<\/strong> have the tools they need to understand and confront addiction compassionately and effectively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>New, more effective treatments<\/strong> are discovered and implemented, ultimately resulting in methods so effective they are regarded as a cure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>physiological basis of addiction<\/strong> is common knowledge, and the general public is well aware of options for treatment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Values <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>We believe in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Science, evidence, and logic<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Education<\/li>\n<li>Scalable solutions<\/li>\n<li>Investing in the future<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mission The Peter G.
